what i posted on aus

sooo....here we are....i was going to wait till after i have made some changes before sharing but seeing as how people will see it at baz's i thought i might as well show now....

it all began when one day at work i was sitting down thinking, what should i do.

in one hand i had everything i needed bar a supercharger and some custom parts to build my 'supercar' weapon which included a vh45 and negotiations in purchasing a slicktop......and in the other i had the thought of getting a reliable car that i can count on for at least another 5 years while i get my house savings sorted.

at the end of the day i could spend what i had to spend on a killer v8 zed.....or i could spend it on a car that im not going to have to worry about.

i wanted a car that wasnt going to give me troubles. i wanted a car that i didnt have to think, oh will it work today or not....then there is running costs...i wanted a car that has been kept in great condition so half my worries will be gone......

again.....having such a car means i can concentrate on saving money for a house rather than having to worry if i need to spend money on the car just to keep it running......

yes a fast awesome car would be great.....but then i realised.....flame suit on....power isnt everything im over all that shit now....its time to get a car that looks sexy and will treat me well.....i dont have time in my life right now to be doing monster v8 swaps....my priorities changed.....for the better imho

anyway, enough about my life story......

here she is

sorry about qual...i used dads good camera but i dont think i had the setting right, because they came out a little fuzzy...and no its not pink...its terracotta....the camera doesnt pick it up

51000k on the clock....

this car is unbelievably clean and well looked after. chris (cra-z-boy) has done a great job keeping this thing in the condition its in. at first i thought the exhaust is wayyy to loud but after going for a spirited drive through mount cotton today i have fallen for its sound. its hard to explain but the sound just keeps getting better and better as the needle climbs through the rev range. it is by far the nicest and smoothest car i have ever driven. words cant explain it.

oh and it has heated review mirrors

i got al (ztoy) to come and install a full alarm system in it yesterday, great job i must say....very happy.

with the left over money i have decided to do a few things which include:

plenmum pull
100k service
2k front bar (or maybe ill keep the flug bar)
stillen sides
stillen rear
saw kit
aftermarket rad
trans cooler
wheels
navan wing (thinking ill leave it braz now)
gauge rings

and thats it lol.....

the end

I still dont know Erik, I can understand your reasoning but the car screams zoolander to me....atm. I used to say the same bout my mates S13 convertible but it looks like this now with RB25 in it and I do likey so there is hope for yours, specially if it developes boost at some stage in the future.
